Some people going to the Foo Fighters concert at nib stadium on Sunday night won’t be able to catch a train home, but replacement buses will be available.

Trains on the Joondalup line between Perth Underground and Stirling Station will finish two hours earlier so repair work can be carried out.

Transperth’s Clair Krol said they will end train services earlier than usual to allow technicians to get the work done, before tomorrow’s peak hour rush.

“Mandurah Line trains will turn at Perth Underground and trains will run as usual between Stirling and Butler.” Ms Krol said.

Ms Krol said technicians will work on repairing a set of points near Stirling Station. The points were causing delays for commuters on Sunday morning and Transperth don’t want the delays to continue.

Replacement bus “904” will operate from Roe Street Bus Station.

The last full-line train service will depart Perth at 9.45pm Sunday.

While the last train leaving from Butler will be at 9.03pm Sunday.  Follow WAtoday on Twitter
